Description

Canadian Toy Testing Council - Great Books for Children 2010 winner

The first book of the MacCheeky Series introduces Prince Hayden MacCheeky, the youngest in his royal family.

His older brother Prince Campbell wants him to stop copying him. Princess Ava, his older sister, wants him to stop bugging her. Prince Hayden just wants to have fun.
This is the story of a real little prince who learns that playing with his royal siblings is way more fun than imitating and irritating them.

Technically speaking, Karen Roy studied Graphic Design at Durham College, which sounds rather serious...but mostly she was scribbling on scrap pieces of paper rather than paying attention. Then she found out that she liked to scribble on her computer even more.

Editorial Reviews

" (The illustrations) are comical and vibrant, featuring the peculiar royal dog, Goober, in an assortment of hilarious poses.

-- CM Magazine

"Prince Hayden MacCheeky is a royal prince who likes to tease and mimic his brothers and sisters. When they refuse to play with him, Prince Hayden must adjust his behaviour so that he becomes fun to be around. Children enjoy the distinctive, full-colour illustrations, which add a lot to the humour and plot of this book."
