About the author

Crystal Vaughan is originally from Ottawa, Ontario but has lived all across Canada and in Germany. She received a B.A. in English from Mount Saint Vincent University in 2008 and an M.A. in English from Dalhousie University in 2010. Crystal’s creative non-fiction story, Pieces, placed first in the 2012 Annual Atlantic Writing Competition. She currently lives in Halifax with her partner and a clowder of cats.
