About the authors
Contributor Notes
Lisa Weaver (author) lives in Wisconsin and is a third grade teacher. A graduate of Goshen College, her first book for children was Praying with Our Feet. Other titles for children include Swords to Plowshares, Living the Anabaptist Story, and Let the Children Come to Me.
Julie Kauffman (illustrator) grew up in Ohio. An illustrator and independent filmmaker, Julie is also the designer of the popular cookbook Simply in Season.
Judith Rempel Smucker (illustrator), a graphic designer and collage artist, grew up in rural Manitoba and currently lives in Winnipeg. Her other books include Home, Re-Encounters: Views from the Field, and Lectio Divina: Lectio, Meditatio, Oratio, Contemplatio, Actio.
