Nova Scotia is home to some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world, and in Pop-up Halifax, six iconic scenes of its capital city and beyond are brought to vivid new life. Brad Hartman is a self-taught illustrator who learned the art of pop-up making from a combination of YouTube tutorials, examining old pop-up books, and a plethora of trial and error. His passions include referring to himself in the third person, the Oxford comma, experimenting with art, and his partner, Katie. He makes and sells pop-up cards under the moniker Bardbardbard from his home in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
