Description
A two book set, consisting of "Raincoats, Suitcases, Palms" with essays by Dot Tuer and Matthias Winzen, an interview with the artist by Dot Tuer, and a complete biography, videography, and bibliography and "The Bar Report", conceived and designed by Frenkel. She uses a collage-freize throughout, and an original silk-screen print, "Recovering Memory", cut into nine different page-size segments, is tipped into each book. Winner of both the Ontario Association of Art Galleries 1994 Design and Curatorial Writing Awards. Texts in English and French. Designed by Bryan Gee and Vera Frenkel.
About the authors
A frequent lecturer on contemporary art in North America and Europe, Dot Tuer teaches at the Ontario College of Art & Design in Toronto. Tuer is well-known for her curatorial projects, essays and reviews.
