Carla Gunn has been a part-time member of the Psychology Department since 1997. She has published essays in provincial and national media; her first novel, Amphibian (Coach House), was published in 2009. As well as writing and teaching, she is a partner in Cogent Consortium, a psychology-based workplace consulting firm in Fredericton.
